Job Summary
As a key technical contributor as microbiology expert to lead or support innovation project development based on the market trends and customer requirements in Greater China.
Provide high quality technical support to promote products or programs making technical recommendations to solve issues for regional or global customer base.
- As a key technical contributor as microbiology expert lead microbiology relative innovation project independently or support microbiology relative projects/experiments/research with complexity and depth.
- Has deep knowledge on microbiology explore and identify microbiology risk systematically and develop innovative solution coordinating with Chemist or Mechanical Engineer develop microbiology test and detection methodology in cleaning and sanitizing to ensure Food Safety. A must have capability to approach innovative microbiology resolutions with next generation sanitizer quick detective methodology or new microbiology control solutions.
- Represent GC team to connect with global microbiology platform to synergize new microbiology relative innovation and development to help regional innovation.
- Strong capability on project management design excellence and other principles theories and concepts to assignments where precedents may exist plus working knowledge of other related disciplines especially on microbiology and sanitizer.
- Has capability to identify customer pain point and demonstrates the ability to translate the pain point into new solutions or product ideas and provide on-site or in-depth technical solution which proves advance to competitors.
- Work with Chemist and Marketing to approach products technical advance and develop selling point.
- Work with Regulatory to ensure all products/programs in compliance and develop new microbiology relative method to support new innovation development.
Required / Preferred Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- PhD or Masters degree with Microbiology Background on Biochemical Engineering Food Science Engineering or a related technical discipline with 6 work experience microbiology background is mandatory
- Expertise on microbiology testing and study is mandatory experience in microbiology relative projects including microbiology foundation research and study new test method development and innovation project development. Working experience from Antimicrobial Raw Material company Food Science or FMCG HPC or Food R&D etc.
- Able to effectively work with multifunctional teams (i.e. Chemist mechanical engineer Sales Marketing Regulatory Supply Chain and customer) country regionally and globally based experience to support customer directly is preferred.
- Strong communication skill strong team work with Business/Marketing to define innovation projects track project progress regularly and manage projects
- Eager to learn with technical curious resilience on challenge and tough situations. 6 Years experience in R&D work.
- PC skills: E-mail MS-Word MS-Excel MS-Powerpoint etc.
- Excellent oral and written English
