As part of the Site Engineering team the successful candidate will be responsible for the design and installation of capital projects according to the site capital plan. Engineers are expected to become an active member of the larger engineering community the site technical team and any assigned project team(s). Additionally the successful candidate will be responsible for deploying their engineering know-how to successfully execute and deliver projects to the business that provide a competitive advantage.

What are we looking for

Minimum

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field or 5 years of equivalent experience.

• A strong understanding of engineering disciplines including process packaging electrical construction mechanical or similar fields of work.

• Skilled in high performance teamwork strong communication and the ability to take initiative in ambiguous situations.

Preferred

• Experience with managing the scope budget schedule and other capital project aspects would set the ideal candidate apart.

• Knowledge of the Mars Engineering Work Process (EWP) and how it applies to project management at Mars would set the ideal candidate apart.

• 1 years of engineering experience in food beverage pharmaceutical or related industry would be an advantage.

• A passion for engineering and design work required to plan execute and validate project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Meet the capital project commitments of individual project scope time and budget in line with the sites annual capital plan and overall Masterplan.

• Use of project management techniques to lead projects to success.

• Be an active leader and participant in the project development process and plan for the site.

• Create project budget estimates with a developed scope of work and schedule for execution to the site capital plan and Masterplan.

• Possess the correct technical information or ability to find the required knowledge to complete comprehensive project design work.
