About the role:
- Work closely with a Partner & Head of the Sydney Office as well as a Special Counsel.
- Act in a broad range of insurance matters including coverage advice coverage disputes policy interpretation and defending litigated claims.
- Assist in drafting pleadings affidavits advices negotiating settlements and preparing for mediations and trials.
- Liaise with external counsel clients brokers and experts.
The ideal candidate:
- Have at least 37 years of experience in insurance law.
- Strong drafting research and analytical skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; capable of managing competing tasks.
- Excellent communication client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
