The Technical Sales Representative is a key member of the Stellar Team who develops opportunities by producing high quality quotations and furthering customer relationships. Stellars sales process includes supplier and product knowledge to assist customers by providing accurate and timely solutions through until the orders are placed.

This position will be a primary driver of sales and will include but not limited to quote preparation customer support quotation follow up order processing and measuring customer satisfaction. You will closely collaborate with various internal departments and representatives in this cross-functional position.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes and specific responsibilities;

  • Respond to requests for Electrical Control Panel quotes.
  • prepare bill of materials using customers specifications and electrical drawings.
  • Prepare quotations and negotiate aspects of the offer such as price delivery and payment terms
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to strengthen relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prospecting and developing new customer opportunities.
  • Following-up with customers to obtain feedback.
  • Maintaining contact database opportunity metrics and other customer information as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

1-5 years of previous experience in the electrical industry is required.

understanding of motor controls including VFDs and soft starts in theory and operation is required.

ability to read schematics and perform take-offs is required.

knowledge of instrumentation automation and programming from a sales perspective is an asset.

Energetic with the ability to work effectively with a team.

Excellent command of English verbal and written is required.

Excellent customer relation skills and the ability to produce results.

A competitive salary and quarterly paid commissions will be offered depending on experience.
