We are a small fast-moving team based in NYC passionate about building beautiful and functional products. We are constantly looking for creative ways to push the capabilities of iOS/watchOS to create an app that is more intelligent fun and integrated into our users lives.
Bevel launched last year and weve been lucky to see incredible growth and support from our users. Were looking to bring on a Senior iOS Engineer to help us build anambitious roadmap. Youll get an opportunity to shape the future of Bevel and have full ownership and creative freedom to create your lifes work.
Responsibilities
Lead major features and architecture decisions across iOS and watchOS
Collaborate with design product and marketing to deliver world-class experiences
Build high-quality maintainable code with strong attention to performance and detail
Push the limits of Apples frameworks HealthKit WatchKit SwiftUI etc.
Mentor other engineers share best practices and raise the engineering bar
Contribute to the evolution of Bevels app architecture and internal tools
Help define and refine our development process as we scale
Requirements
4 years building native iOS apps with Swift and SwiftUI
Deep understanding of Apples frameworks app lifecycle and performance optimization
Experience shipping high-quality design-centric consumer apps
Strong fundamentals in algorithms data structures and concurrency
A strong product mindset
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A bias for action ownership and shipping
Excited about helping people live healthier better lives
