We are currently seeking a Project Manager who will oversee the end-to-end delivery of strategic technology and process initiatives. As a Project Manager you will ensure that projects are scoped clearly executed efficiently and delivered on time while maintaining transparency and accountability across all stakeholders. This role involves both big-picture program management and hands-on business analysis to ensure successful outcomes.

Objectives:

Manage complex multi-stakeholder projects across trading investment management business development and post-trade functions
Lead meetings drive alignment and facilitate consensus among teams with diverse priorities
Develop and maintain detailed project plans milestones and reporting dashboards
Hold teams accountable for deliverables proactively identifying blockers and resolving issues
Allocate limited resources effectively across competing initiatives
Monitor project health and delivery timelines escalating when necessary to maintain momentum

Qualifications:

10 years of experience in project and program management within a proprietary trading firm hedge fund or investment bank
Extensive knowledge of software development lifecycles agile methodologies and release management
Strong technical fluency familiarity with C development environments exchange connectivity hardware infrastructure and storage systems
Proven ability to allocate resources efficiently particularly under constraints
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to understand both the context and the specifics of complex development requests
Deep understanding of trade lifecycle post-trade processing and settlement workflows across asset classes
Strong documentation skills (requirements project trackers meeting notes) with a focus on clarity and completeness
Excellent problem-solving analytical and interpersonal skills
Proven record of holding teams accountable while maintaining collaboration and trust
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills able to convey complex information to both executives and technical teams
Proficiency with MS Office Google Suite and collaboration tools (JIRA Confluence/Wiki project trackers)

Preferred:

Background in financial services or tech with exposure to trading infrastructure
Experience managing low-latency systems market data infrastructure or risk platform development
Comfort working in Linux environments or familiarity with network architecture concept
Prior experience leading global cross-functional teams

This position is eligible to be based in Chicago IL New York NY or London compliance with applicable U.S. pay transparency laws the anticipated base range for this role is $125000-$250000 annually in Chicago IL and New York NY.Pay (base and bonus) may vary depending on job-related skills and experience. A discretionary performance bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package.
