The Opportunity
As a Data Scientist you will be responsible for delivering high quality outcomes by applying the right fit-for purpose solutions in collaboration with other stakeholders and team members within the same business line.
Develop and implement fit-for-purpose methods analytics and data processing algorithms.
Onboard data into Snowflake and other database systems performing data loads and backend development using dbt SQL and Python.
Leverage AWS services to operationalize models and establish optimal architectures for data science projects.
Independently support projects partnering with global business stakeholders across all time zones to meet business needs.
Collaborate in agile cross-functional teams with Data Scientists Data Engineers Automation experts and business experts to deliver impactful solutions.
Create and manage comprehensive documentation for data science and data engineering projects.
Engage in exploratory projects to evaluate and introduce new technologies perform demos lead project reviews and embrace feedback for continuous improvement.
Who you are
You hold a Bachelor Degree in mathematics computer science statistics engineering or information science and 2-5 years of relevant experience ideally in a multicultural environment with global processes (Commercial Finance Procurement Supply Chain IT). Preferably you have a Masters degree
You are someone who wants to influence your own development. Youre looking for a company where a job title is not considered the final definition of who you are but the starting point
First professional work experience in:
Designing and developing data flows and ETL processes using modern storage solutions (e.g. Snowflake AWS Redshift SAP BW4)
Applying advanced statistical methods and complex algorithms to real world data
Professional work experience in at least one of the following languages: SQL/dbt Python
Strong team player with interpersonal skills and strong collaborative and solution-focused mindset
Strong communication networking skills someone who enjoys working with others and acts as a team player
Solid experience with stakeholder management
English is a must additional languages are a plus
