Job Summary
Mercy Medical Center is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician!
Practice Setting: Inpatient --Call Structure at MMC approx 1:4 //Fri 4pm-Fri 4pm//Floor/ED/ICU/emergent consults and endoscopies (when needed) --Carry Beeper overnight--Outpatient-TBD and will know more early next week
Reason for Coverage: Retirement
Dates of Coverage: Start mid Dec 2025 until we find perm placement physician
Clinical Areas: Adult Hospital Gastro endoscopy
Onsite Lab Yes
Onsite X-Ray Yes
Will Outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine be Required No
Average Number of Office/Clinic Patients Per Locum Per Day: unknown at this time if outpt coverage is required-will amend as soon as i know
Average Number of Hospital Based Patients Per Locum Per Day: 4-12 per day

Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Start in mid to late December
