Job Summary
Sapulpa Public Schools is seeking candidates for an assistant band director position. We are looking for a part time director with a background in jazz and dedication to fostering musical excellence amoung our students.
Qualifications:
- Experience in jazz music and jazz band direction.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for music education and student development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct rehearsals and performances as needed with the 2nd 8th-12th grade Jazz Band.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the head band director.
Schedule and Flexibility:
- This is a half-day position with flexibility in scheduling.
- Responsibilities and specific hours can be adjusted to fit the needs of the right candidate.
