Rate of Pay:TBD for the 2025-2026 school year. Currently $16.44 per hour
Schedule: 235 work days
Insurance:Generous Health dental and vision contribution from the district.
PERS Retirement:The district assumes and pays the 6% average employee contribution to the Oregon PERS system.

FUNCTION:Perform a variety of office duty tasks such as answering the phone scheduling appointments reviewing documents for accuracy photocopying filing opening and distributing mail and other duties necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the program. Establish and maintain a positive and effective working relationship with all district staff and the public.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support special services staff in assistance with administrative functions;
Make decisions independently in accordance with established procedures and policy; Answers telephone and gives information to callers regarding special programs services; Assist certified and classified staff; Assist with the scheduling of evaluations eligibility and IEP meetings as needed;
Monitor confidential testing protocol inventory;
Maintain inventories and orders for equipment materials supplies etc.;
Purchase supplies and materials;
Maintain accurate time sheets for payroll;
Types letters reports minutes from notes verbal instruction or independently;
Coordinate a variety of programs and activities as assigned (e.g. substitute teachers meetings in-service day activities workshops etc.);
Maintains confidential student files and materials;
Keep student information confidential;
Attend necessary trainings;
Possess and exhibit an upbeat positive attitude;
Develop positive working relationships with students staff families and visitors;
Other duties may be assigned as needs of the department determine.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each duty.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Three years clerical experience or combination of experience and training preferred.
