Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingRegistered Nurse Case Manager / Utilization Review / CDIfor an exciting Travel or Local job inSyracuse NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive case management and utilization review for patients in acute care settings.
Ensure appropriate care coordination and discharge planning in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Evaluate medical necessity and length of stay based on clinical guidelines and payer requirements.
Utilize EPIC EMR to document care plans progress and utilization activities accurately.
Qualifications:
Current New York State RN License and Registration.
BLS Certification (must be current or eligible for recertification).
Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years) in a facility of similar size or level.
EPIC EMR experience is required or strongly preferred.
Proven experience in Case Management Utilization Review and/or Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI).
Excellent communication critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
