Talend Developer Consultant

Position Description:

We are seeking a skilled Talend Developer Consultant with strong expertise in designing and implementing ETL workflows using Talend Studio and Talend Data Integration. The ideal candidate is proficient in optimizing data pipelines managing large-scale data transformations and integrating diverse data sources. A solid understanding of SQL data warehousing cloud platforms and data governance is essential.

Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain ETL workflows using Talend Studio and Talend Data Integration.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Integrate data from various sources into centralized platforms.
- Collaborate with data architects and analysts to ensure data quality and governance.
- Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of ETL processes.
- Document technical solutions and share knowledge with team members.

Qualifications
- Talend development experience (Talend Studio Talend Data Integration)
- Strong ETL design and implementation skills
- Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Understanding of data governance data quality and performance tuning
- Java development for backend services
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) microservices and event-driven architectures
- Experience with Apigee X for API management
- Knowledge of GCP Pub/Sub for messaging and asynchronous processing
- Proficiency with Postman for API testing and validation
