At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Opioid Treatment Therapist or Counselor (CADC)to join our team in New Bern NC.

Your Role in Our Mission
As an Opioid Treatment Therapist or Counselor (CADC) on our team youll be a catalyst for recovery transforming lives from day one. Youll drive patient success by delivering person-centered therapy and case management to individuals recovering from opioid addiction; conducting assessments (for licensed therapists only); developing Person-Centered Plans (PCPs); and setting meaningful recovery goals while facilitating individual and group therapy sessions. You will also document progress in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system coordinate with medical and support staff provide crisis intervention connect patients with community resources and ensure compliance with federal and state OTP regulations.

This position follows a Monday - Friday 6 am - 2 pm.

What Were Looking For
- OTP Therapist: Full or provisional LCAS LCSW or LCMHC and experience in substance use services.
- OTP Counselor: CADC or CADC-I certification and experience in substance use services.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices group facilitation and crisis intervention
- Strong documentation skills to meet federal state and licensing requirements (e.g. NCTOPPS treatment plans releases of information).
- Collaborative mindset to work with physicians nurses and other professionals.
- Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Therapy (MAT).
- Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
- Maintain a valid state-appropriate drivers license and auto insurance.
