Job Description:
Instruct Non-Violence Crisis Intervention (NVCI) classes system wide for UofL Health to meet JC standards for Workplace Violence. Ensure all direct care staff are prepared for incidents of Workplace Violence by providing standardized training in de-escalation and safe physical management techniques. Ensure accurate documentation of NVCI training Program on internal education site and for CPI (Exam registration completion etc.). Research and maintain knowledge of changes to NVCI material de-escalation strategies and other training program material to ensure the most efficient training is offered to staff. Develop new Workplace Violence Prevention training material with Workplace Violence Prevention manager to ensure program success. Coordinate and plan training with other PRN NVCI instructors in the system for additional trainings. Order and track CPI materials system wide
