Job Summary

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join one of our long-term clients team at (1) of their properties in Aurora CO (80012). The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in property management (leasing or assistant property manager position) experience with Yardi and have worked with market rate properties. This role does require candidates to be bilingual in Spanish and English. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

Salary: $26-$30/hour DOQ. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

Schedule: This role will be working Monday Friday 8am - 5pm.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Collecting rent and other property fees from tenants and individual owners
Paying property expenses including taxes mortgages payroll insurance premiums and maintenance costs
Reporting the propertys financial status occupancy and expiring leases to property owners
Meeting potential tenants showing them the property and assessing their applications in accordance with anti-discrimination laws
Leasing and compliance duties within affordable housing communities and fair housing rules.
Advertising vacant properties and hiring a leasing agent to find tenants as needed.
Inspecting properties and arranging for repairs and new materials as required
Arranging contracts for maintenance trash removal landscaping security and other ongoing services and managing disputes with these service providers where appropriate
Investigating and resolving property complaints and rental violations

Position Requirements:

2 years experience in property management assistant property manager or property manager role.
Have worked with large market rate properties (300 units).
Experience with Yardi.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Outlook and Excel.
Be able to successfully complete a background check before employment.
