Longvernal Primary School are looking for an Early Years Trained Breakfast Club & After School Club Supervisor to look after pupils who use our wrap around facilities.
Hours 6 Hours a week
7.30am 9.00am Breakfast Club Monday & Tuesday
3.00pm 6.00 pm - After School Club - Thursday
Salary - Grade 1 SCP 3-4 24796.00 - 25185.00 - Actual Salary 3393.03 - 3446.26 pro rata

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide safe creative and appropriate play opportunities
Ensure that all activities are carried out within an equal opportunities framework
Undertake any necessary training
Encourage community-wide participation and activity planning and delivery
Develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents to facilitate day to day caring needs
Consult with the children and involve them in the planning of activities
Ensure that activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner
Ensure that food provision is carried out within the guidelines of the food safety act 1990
Ensure that a wide range of creative and enjoyable activities are offered
Ensure that play meets the full range of childrens individual and group needs
The main purpose of this role is to assist with providing a caring engaging and secure environment for children between the ages of 4-11 through individual attention and group activities by organising an appropriate range of leisure activities. Childcare Practitioners need to be organised and enthusiastic with the ability to communicate and interact with both children and parents maintaining an approachable aura. With a professional childcare qualification and experience in a similar role the successful candidate would ideally have both a food hygiene and first aid certificate.
