Clean scrub and refinish floors according to departmental standards.
Dust dry mop wet mop and sanitize assigned hallways and common areas daily.
Strip and refinish floors to a glossy professional shine.
Extract and bonnet carpets clean walls ceilings windows and mirrors as assigned.
Secure and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment safely.
Report repair needs for equipment furniture and fixtures.
Assist with emergency cleaning and state inspection preparation.
Support resident move-ins/outs by preparing rooms and maintaining cleanliness.
Pull trash and rotate dumpsters throughout the shift.
Participate in fire drills and assist with safety procedures as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Education: Functional literacy sufficient to perform job duties.
Experience: Previous floor technician or housekeeping experience in an institutional or residential setting preferred.
Skills:
Ability to operate cleaning and floor care equipment.
Understanding of pH levels cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs bend stoop and handle cleaning tools.
