Essential Duties:
- Understand and follow all Safety Rules. Able to understand and use lockout systems.
- Actively participate in safety improvement activities
- Report safety and equipment incidents promptly using Torays incident reporting system
- Monitor Machine/Process Equipment instrumentation during operation
- Maintain proper documentation including computer data entry (MES Plant Apps etc.)
- Perform quality checks/inspections of product (Contamination product shape and color)
- Assist team to maintain cleanliness and organization of plant and equipment per required standards (AIB)
- Handle product and materials using power equipment (pallet jacks fork-lifts Power lifter)
- Able to understand and comply with Quality and Environmental procedures and policies
- Conduct him/herself in a professional manner and maintain good attendance
- Assist team members with miscellaneous items such as sampling checking equipment in the building and reporting information on a hand-held radio and maintaining equipment output
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
- Ability to push/pull 1500 lb. using a manual pallet jack
- Able to work 12 hour rotating work shift
- Able to work mandatory overtime
- Ability to stand for long periods of time 2 or 3 hours
- Ability to be respirator certified
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Comfortable with handling chemicals in small containers and drums
Education & Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
