Chief Engineer Tissue Machines Services
Location: Karlstad (Sweden) Wroclaw (Poland)

Your role
As a Chief Engineer youll oversee engineering projects for Tissue machine modernizations improvements and equipment deliveries collaborating closely with Valmet stakeholders. Your role involves supporting sales & application R&D procurement and site operations while focusing on projects mechanical engineering. As a Chief Engineer youll handle layout 3D modelling and subcontractor supervision and in some projects also detail engineering if needed. This is a chance to demonstrate your skills and collaborate globally showcasing your technical expertise and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering
- Over five years of engineering experience
- Knowledge of tissue machines industry processes and/or engineering seen as benefit
- Fluent in Polish and English; additional proficiency in French Spanish or German is a plus
- Determined self-reliant with a passion for continuous improvement and global collaboration
- Strong teamwork networking and communication skills
- Quick learner and adaptable to new technologies
- Willingness to travel 20-40 days annually within EU and internationally
