THE ROLE
Reporting to the Ticketing & Activations Team Lead the Ticketing & Activations Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing ticketing hospitality and merchandise distribution across extensive network of sports partnerships - including leading Italian clubs such as Juventus Inter Milan AS Roma and Napoli. This role involves ensuring seamless ticket allocation overseeing partner merchandise logistics and delivering once-in-a-lifetime experiences to fans and users.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee the Ticketing & Activations operations for specified club(s) and market(s) working closely with the internal delivery team to maximise extensive sponsorship rights and associated events.
- Support the Ticketing & Activations Team Lead and the wider internal delivery team to leverage extensive sponsorships rights and associated events;
- Work across several partner ticketing management systems and reward a large number of users with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.
- Own the allocation and management of ticketing across all dedicated partner clubs for all matches ensuring optimal distribution and utilisation.
- Manage the partner merchandise allocation from receiving the stock from the partnership managers to regular stock take as well as coordinating all merchandise shipments to the respective winners.
- Occasionally support the delivery of hospitality and fan engagement activities including assisting with event-day management of hospitality suites or boxes coordinating pitch-side or half-time competitions and attending sponsorship events as needed. These responsibilities are infrequent and not part of the day-to-day role.
- Build a strong working relationship with the hospitality teams at our partners and right holders;
- Management of sponsorship and events admin including managing and updating the events calendar.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including but not limited to the Marketing Sponsorships & Partnerships Customer Service & Product Teams to guarantee a stellar and unique experience for all our users & fans;
Requirements
- Proven experience with ticket booking systems and in co-ordinating rewards programmes.
- Strong eye for detail to manage ticketing hospitality and merchandise processes accurately.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication to liaise with internal teams partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt quickly think creatively and provide solutions in fast-paced event environments.
- Interpersonal skills and experience of hosting and delivering complex events;
- Ability to work under pressure as part of a highly driven and fast paced environment;
- A proactive problem solver with the ability to work independently and think autonomously.
- Understanding of blockchain technologies and their impact on sports and fan engagement.
A solid understanding of the role of sponsorship within marketing and an interest in sports would be beneficial. - Willingness to travel as needed.
- Fluency in Italian (written and verbal) is required.
