Job Summary
LPN/LVN- Long Term Care
Location: Utica NY 13502
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8-hour Eve 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $1275 - $1425; Depending on experience (negotiable)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Long Term Care team in Utica NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility ensuring their comfort safety and well-being in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document resident health and report changes to healthcare team
- Assist residents with daily living activities including hygiene feeding and mobility
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families
Required Requirements:
- Active LPN License in the state of New York
- Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience
- Current BLS Certification (AHA)
- Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing compassionate high-quality care
