Shift: Night 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN position in a healthcare facility in Frederick MD. As a PRN LPN you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Physicians. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients according to the care plan established by the healthcare team.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure heart rate and temperature.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments including injections and IVs.
- Assist with patient assessments and document health status noting any changes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to update care plans and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on care plans medications and general health practices.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Maryland.
- CPR/BLS certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Strong clinical communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
