Location: Utica NY 13502
Duration: 13 week
Shift: Day; 6:30 AM -7 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2088 - $2268; (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Critical Care Float Pool on a day shift schedule. The Float Pool RN will provide high-quality compassionate care to patients in ICU Med-Surg and other units as needed across the hospital system. You will play a vital role in maintaining staffing flexibility and supporting areas of high patient acuity or staff shortages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process and established hospital standards.
- Provide care in ICU and float as needed to Med-Surg units with potential assignments of 6 7 patients.
- Accurately assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care for a variety of patient populations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective and safe patient care.
- Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions and emergencies with professionalism and competence.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the Epic EMR system.
Requirements:
- Licensure:
- Active New York RN license (Required)
- All active RN licenses accepted
- Certifications (Required):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required
Additional Info:
- Will accept local candidates.
- Local pay rates will apply to candidates residing within 75 miles.
