Job Summary
RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years Traveler Experience: Unit accepts 1st time travelers ONLY if they have EPIC experience. Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: IV Start some non-titratable Cardiac Drips Telemetry patients knowing rhythms. Certs: BCLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Telemetry. ACLS and NIH. JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 1:6-7 (usually only see 7 with last min call outs which is rare but have plans in place to help support the nurses if thats the case) Shift: 12HR NIGHTS 36 hours can be offered Unit will accept contracts for 13-16 weeks May be floated to other units with same skill levels or tasks. RTO: 7 days MAX Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Medical and post surgical patients. Remote telemetry monitoring. UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication Documentation Communication): Pyxis EPIS SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: Unit schedules UNIT ORIENTATION: 12 hours Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day. SCRUBS: Navy blue white or combination of navy/white
