Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and collaborative Portfolio & Operations Manager to support a 6-month project. This role will focus on streamlining operational processes driving efficiencies managing contracts and payments and creating impactful visualizations to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership communication and financial management skills along with a proven ability to navigate a matrixed corporate environment.
Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
- Lead onboarding to tools and processes during the first 90 days identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
- Analyze and enhance workflows across the team and broader organization.
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Apply a change management approach to support transitions to new processes.
Visualization & Communication
- Develop executive-level presentations and visual reports using PowerPoint.
- Create dashboards and operational insights using Airtable or similar platforms.
- Communicate effectively across a matrixed organization including senior leadership.
Contract & Financial Management
- Manage contract lifecycles including drafting negotiation execution and renewals.
- Oversee payment processes and vendor relationships.
- Support budgeting forecasting and financial planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required.
- 7-8 years minimum experience in operations management or related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills especially in navigating matrixed organizations.
