Overview
The Ironclad team works on exciting and innovative projects to deliver the entire Ironclad Contract Lifecycle Management platform to global and enterprise clients. You will work closely with our clients and cross functionally with Consilios Consulting Data Services etc. teams to manage the end-to-end delivery of CLM projects.
The Legal Engineer will drive business growth by understanding client requirements and building strategic solution to transform how our clients operate their legal departments. The Legal Engineer will have the breadth and depth of experience of working in the legal industry and a deep hands-on technical skills capability to configure Ironclad.
The Legal Engineer acts as the key solution and technical advisor for the client which will include facilitating workshops and delivering implementation projects from requirements gathering all the way through to hypercare and post-implementation support.
Responsibilities
- Leading high complexity legal technology projects from design through to build testing and deployment.
- Working with customers to gather refine and document business requirements.
- Holding workshops with customers capturing business requirements and designing functional solutions to legal business problems.
- Designing contract automation or workflow solutions in the form of business process flows variables tables automation mark-ups etc.
- Producing artifacts such as business requirements documents process flows variables tables automation mark-ups.
- Ensuring that the agreed deliverables and functional requirements are delivered to the client.
- Producing and signing off on testing plans QAT and UAT and delivering demos to customers and supporting with UAT.
- Point of escalation for projects collaborating with the wider project team to resolve issues mitigate problems and communicate challenges/blockers as well as remedial actions.
- Managing coaching and mentoring team members within the Ironclad practice.
- Preparing project estimates along with the technical delivery team.
- Stakeholder and project management overseeing the delivery of projects to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget.
- Managing client relationships leading the pre-sales process and performing demos etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Law Computer Science Business or a related field
- 3 years of experience in legal operations consulting or implementation roles
- Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and legal workflows
- Experience with Ironclad or similar CLM platforms (e.g. DocuSign Agiloft Icertis)
