This position is a Grade: 7 - 37.5 with an approximate salary range of $39080 - $46910 and is subject to change based on experience skills and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and processaccounts payablepayment requests to ensure accuracy proper documentation and compliance with University policies and tax regulations
Maintain and update vendor records including W-9 and international tax information to support timely and accurate payments
Research and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies in collaboration with campus departments and vendors
Prepare and reconcileaccountspayable transactions including accruals deferrals and journal entries for monthly and year-end reporting
Provide exceptional customer service to vendors and University departments by addressing payment inquiries and guiding users through Accounts Payable procedures
Contribute to continuous process improvements and uphold data security and financial integrity within the Controllers Office
Support Controllers Office operations by assisting with projects and providing coverage for other team members as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience; Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
One to three years of related work experience
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
