Job Summary

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reports to Service Engineer (Paint)

Responsible for painting refinishing and associated activities on vehicles as detailed on Job Cards on a timely basis to a high quality standard to understand new procedures and share best practise with the team

100-110% Productively Efficient 85-95% Utilised

KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:

Carry out dry sanding repair process.

Carry out masking of the vehicle.

Spray paint 2K solvent base and water base colors.

Identify & rectify the basic color defect.

Carry out preparation work for painting

Adhere to the HSE regulation.

Understand the painbooth maintenance requirement.

Carry out wet on wet painting on new panel.

Primer application.

Perform filler application and body lining.

Perform blending techniques.

Assist in Paint stock control.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:

At least 2 years experience in a similar role and / or environment

Ability to understand and speak English

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Working Hours: as per the Service Dept. Timings.
