Our client is a leading professional services firm in Ireland with ambitious growth plans with offices in Dublin Galway and Limerick.

Are you looking to broaden your tax experience while working in a supportive and collaborative team environment
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious qualified tax senior to work in our Corporate Tax department. If you either possess an accounting qualification or an Irish Tax Institutes Chartered Tax Advisor qualification come talk to us about this exciting opportunity to further develop your career.

Key Responsibilities

The role would suit an ambitious individual willing to work within a team managing the tax obligations of a portfolio of primarily companies
The work is varied and encompasses advising on a wide range of taxation items not just corporation tax. Typical examples of projects would include assisting on taxation due diligence assignments Revenue audits succession planning both for passing assets on to the next generation and disposals to third parties
The role will also include group restructurings equity employee participation plans and the taxation implications of disposals of properties.

Ideal Candidate

Approximately 2 years working within a corporate tax or general tax with significant experience in corporation tax
Possess an accounting qualification or wish to obtain the Irish Tax Institutes Chartered Tax Advisor qualification
Strong communicator who enjoys working with privately owned businesses in the sectors such as tech food software and engineering
Experience of preparing corporation tax computations for companies based on trial balances management accounts and financial statements supported also by audit working papers and supporting working papers from client finance teams
