FS Audit Senior Top 5 Firm Cork

Our client is a leading global accountancy network highly regarded for their organic growth and unparalleled expertise in the financial services sector. Their financial services audit team has experienced exceptional growth and specializes in auditing and assurance services across various sectors such as asset management insurance credit unions aircraft leasing and pension schemes.

Main Responsibilities

Plan and execute statutory audits from the planning stage to completion.
Organize assurance work in accordance with the engagement plan and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
Communicate with clients to acquire relevant information and to address any audit queries.
Investigate and analyze all audit issues to identify solutions or proposed solutions.
Review financial statements according to current accounting standards.
Draft reports covering financial statements client business issues systems and controls and other issues.
Assist in the preparation of final documents including the audit opinion and the audit findings report.

About you

A qualified accountant with audit experience.
Must have prior experience in the financial services industry.
Strong technical competence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a self-starter with a high level of initiative.
