About Us

We are seeking Telugu Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Telugu is a major South Indian Dravidian language spoken widely in India and among diaspora communities and is often required in immigration and asylum interviews.

Responsibilities

Provide real-time Telugu English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews hearings and official proceedings.
Deliver interpretation with accuracy neutrality and professionalism.
Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
Handle both scheduled and urgent/surge assignments.
Participate in training compliance refreshers and quality assurance audits.

Qualifications

Native or near-native fluency in Telugu and English.
2 years of professional interpreting experience (immigration community legal healthcare or government preferred).
Knowledge of interpreter ethics confidentiality and cultural awareness.
Excellent telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.
