Harbour View Medical Center is Bon Secours new surgically focused hospital set to open in early 2025. The facility will include 18 medical/surgical beds and up to four operating rooms. The 98000-square-foot hospital will adjoin the existing Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View campus which includes an emergency department outpatient imaging outpatient lab services an ambulatory surgery center and physician practices.

Position Summary

The Administrative Supervisor demonstrates effective leadership for the hospital on the off shifts weekends and holidays. He/she functions as the administrative representative during these times. Serves as a role model for clinical and professional practice. Acts as an independent self-directed professional with demonstrated abilities in interpersonal skills critical thinking and problem resolution. Promotes teamwork with all departments. Demonstrates a strong customer driven approach. Integrates the Mission and Values into decisions. Participates as a team member by performing additional assignments not directly related to the job description when workload requires. Continually seeks opportunities for professional development.

Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Current registered nurse licensure to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Bachelors Degree in Nursing or other health related discipline preferred.
Masters Degree in Nursing or other health related discipline desired.
Minimum of three years clinical experience.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Maintains CPR/ACLS certification.
Knowledge of Windows based computer systems and software.
