***MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE*** SHIFT: 3x12s- start times ranging between 0630-0930 on call on 1 weekend a month and 1 day a week 1 PACU/PREOP MOR - looking for experience prepping and recovering patients coming in for cath lab procedures including cardiac stents TAVR watchman UNIT DETAILS: Daily Census: 20-28 Visits/Day: 20-28 Rooms/Beds: 12 Staffing Ratio: 1:2 Patient Population: Primarily Adults and Geriatrics Pediatrics (minimal)s Float Required: Yes Pre-op and outpatient surgery Unit Systems: Omnicell and Allscripts EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: Minimum 2 yrs critical care/PACU experience Pre-Post Arterial line management Dysrhythmia recognition/management Cardiac Vascular Cardiac arrest Cardioversion Carotid Endarterectomy Pacemaker Insertion Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring Post Cath Lab Procedures PREFERRED: Pulmonary Artery Lines Blood Product Administration Central line care/management Phlebotomy PICC line care and management Starting IVs Omnicell Antiarrhythmics Anticoagulants Antihypertensives Emergency Medications IV vasopressors Narcotics/ Analgesics Reversal agents Care of Ventilated patients Follow up phone calls Medication reconciliation Obtain Operative/Procedural Consent Pre/Post Cath lab procedures Pre/Post IR procedures Pre/Post Operative procedures Pre-op Assessment Pre-op Education Review History and Physical Interpretation and communication of lab values Isolation Precautions Malignant Hyperthermia Protocols Pain Assessment and Management RASS (Richmond Agitation Sedation Scale) watchman TR Band Femstop CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: ACLS BCLS LA Fire Safety Card All RTO must be on initial submittal. Please ensure that all time off needed are requested for entire length of contract.
