Were looking for a Filmmaking Traineeto join our GCN video team. Whether youve just finished a film/media degree or youre a self-taught creator making your own content on YouTube TikTok or Instagram - wed love to hear from you.

This Traineeship is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced filmmakers develop your production skills and help bring to life the kind of content that keeps cyclists hitting play again and again.

What Youll Be Doing

• Assisting with filming and editing video content for our GCN channels.
• Joining the crew on shoots - in the studio on location and sometimes even out on the road.
• Learning how to capture footage that tells engaging stories about road cycling.
• Supporting with camera setup lighting audio and equipment maintenance.
• Helping with edits thumbnails and short-form social content for YouTube and social media
• Bringing your own creative ideas to brainstorms and content development sessions.

What Were Looking For

• A genuine passion for cycling and video creation - you dont need to be a pro just enthusiastic!
• Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve).
• Some experience filming - maybe through university projects personal content or your own YouTube channel.
• A willingness to learn try new things and get hands-on in every part of production.
• A collaborative can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
• A confident road cyclist whos happy to film outdoors and work in dynamic environments.
