Location: North Middle School
Position: Educational Assistant- Title I
Hours: 6hours per day
Calendar: 183 days per year (August-June)

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. Also one of the following options:
- Two years of college study.
- An associates or higher degree.
- A passing score on the District reading writing and math assessment.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Knowledge of and experience with computers.
- Knowledge of business English spelling and mathematics; some knowledge of office practices and procedures; type at a working rate speed.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees and ability to get along well with students.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.
- Upon selection employees will be required to pay for the following: $12.50 fingerprinting fee and $70 ODE fingerprinting processing fee.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- $16.15-$23.32 per hour - Dependent on approved accepted experience/education.
- Annual COLA pay increase (as negotiated with Oregon Association of Classified Employees)
- Annual step pay increase awarded to eligible employees
- 6 paid holidays per year
- 2 personal days per year
- 10 paid sick leave days per year
- Bereavement leave as per bargaining agreement
- Continuing Education Funds up to $1000 per year
- 6% employee paid contribution towards Oregon Public Employees Retirement System
- Longevity Service Stipend after 10 years of employment ($800-$1400)
