What does a Gymnastics Instructor do

Step into the exciting world of gymnastics with the Y as a Gymnastics Instructor! In this fun and rewarding role youll teach beginner tumbling and essential gymnastic skills focusing on building strong foundations for our young athletes. Your classes will emphasize large motor skill development balance and coordination ensuring that every participant feels empowered and confident. By creating a developmentally appropriate program youll help foster strength flexibility focus and gross motor skills in your students. Requirements for this Gymnastics Instructor job

To thrive as a Gymnastics Instructor at the Y youll need a blend of skills and enthusiasm! Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a solid understanding of preschool tumbling and gymnastics instruction. Your ability to connect with children of all ages and abilities will be key-after all youre not just teaching skills youre building a love for the sport! Strong communication with parents is essential too as youll be their go-to resource for their childs gymnastics journey.
