MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate Engineer
Experience and Education Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: (A) Two years of responsible journey-level experience similar to an Assistant Engineer (B) equivalent to a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a related field (C) possession of or ability to obtain a valid California drivers license and (D) a valid CA certificate of registration as an Engineer-in-Training.
Assistant Engineer
Experience and Education Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: (A) Previous technical engineering experience and construction/project management is desirable (B) equivalent to a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering construction engineering construction management or a related field (C) possession of or ability to obtain a valid California drivers license. Possession of an Engineer-in-Training certificate is highly desirable.

The first round of in-person panel interviews has been tentatively scheduled for the week of 11/17/2025.
The secondround of in-person interviews has been tentatively scheduled for the week of 12/01/2025.
