Assistant Executive Officer ()

We are now seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join the Department and engage in promotion and branding.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage different promotion platforms including social media accounts department website and databases;
• Assist in collecting and releasing the latest information on job opportunities government policies and industry trends in the fields of green energy and smart technology in Hong Kong and beyond to students through various promotional platforms. Initiate ideas and activities to enhance the visibility of the Department and research and teaching programmes;
• Develop promotional materials such as posters videos and souvenirs for the research and teaching programs and various departmental events;
• Assist in organising events like Department retreats seminars colloquiums workshops promotional activities partner visits and student field trips;
• Assist in compiling reports and proposals and managing records; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A recognised degree in Communications Marketing Language or a related discipline;
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience; familiarity with the higher education sector and new media is preferred but not required;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua;
• Strong writing communication interpersonal and organisational skills;
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team;
• Able to manage time and work under tight schedule; and
• Good computer skills such as Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Design/Video/Photo software or applications.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written/skills assessment.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
