Job Summary

APB is a global brand portfolio including Amazon Basics and Amazon Essentials offering products that our customers love at great value across Hardlines Consumables and Softlines.
The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment partnering with the Marketing and Discovery (M&D) team to deliver insights that directly influence senior leadership decisions. The role will also support analyzing investments and trade-offs during High Volume Events (HVEs) and develop reporting mechanisms that compare plan versus performance. APBs rapid growth and unique model create an opportunity for a motivated professional to demonstrate their skills and make a significant impact.
Key job responsibilities
-Support the core financial processes for the business including annual operating plan three-year strategic plan and monthly and quarterly business reviews.
-Conduct comprehensive financial modelling including cost-benefit analysis identifying and communicating key drivers to support marketing investment decisions.
-Design automate and iterate financial reporting frameworks that drive strategic decision-making
-Create effective business partnerships manage competing priorities and drive projects to completion.
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- Experience in financial modeling P&L management or analysis
- MBA or CPA
- 3 years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- Experience in identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
