Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing and servicing a diverse portfolio of middle-market commercial accounts including industries such as agriculture construction trucking and oil and gas. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills a proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $70000 - $90000 annually (based on experience)
  • Benefits:

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a book of business with account sizes ranging from $20000 to $500000.
  • Handling endorsements Certificates of Insurance (COI) renewals marketing proposals and account rounding.
  • Providing exceptional client service and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Quoting new and renewal business with a focus on renewals.
  • Remarketing accounts and updating applications as needed.
  • Collaborating with the Commercial Department Manager and other team members to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications/Requirements

To be successful in this role candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience as an Account Manager or Customer Service Representative (CSR) in the insurance industry.
    • Proven experience working with middle-market accounts.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with Epic software is preferred but not required.
    • Strong proficiency in quoting endorsements and renewals.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
    • Proactive problem-solving skills and a client-focused mindset.
