YOUTH THERAPIST 10 MONTH
Make a difference in the lives of youth and families in Grand Forks County with a position that offers a convenient 10-month work schedule (August through June) aligning with the school year.
What Youll Need
- Masters degree in social work or counseling.
- North Dakota license LMSW LAPC or LPC required; LCSW or LPCC preferred.
- Experience with children and victims of violence preferred.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally.
What Youll Do
- Deliver individual and group therapy to youth (under age 18) impacted by domestic violence sexual abuse stalking bullying and related trauma.
- Work directly with youth and their caregivers at CVICs main office shelter and local schools including rural areas.
- Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches.
- Provide support and resources to caregivers and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure youth and families have access to the help they may need.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with billing and insurance processes.
- Participate in community outreach prevention and education efforts.
