Job Summary

YOUTH THERAPIST 10 MONTH


Make a difference in the lives of youth and families in Grand Forks County with a position that offers a convenient 10-month work schedule (August through June) aligning with the school year.



What Youll Need

  • Masters degree in social work or counseling.
  • North Dakota license LMSW LAPC or LPC required; LCSW or LPCC preferred.
  • Experience with children and victims of violence preferred.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally.

What Youll Do

  • Deliver individual and group therapy to youth (under age 18) impacted by domestic violence sexual abuse stalking bullying and related trauma.
  • Work directly with youth and their caregivers at CVICs main office shelter and local schools including rural areas.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches.
  • Provide support and resources to caregivers and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure youth and families have access to the help they may need.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with billing and insurance processes.
  • Participate in community outreach prevention and education efforts.
