HR Generalist (People Experience Generalist)

Were looking for a dynamic resourceful HR Generalist to join our People Experience team and support our Elizabethtown PA warehouse. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced ever-changing environment loves to multi-task and is passionate about creating a positive people-first culture where everyone can do their best work.

Youll be the on-site HR partner for our warehouse teams ensuring smooth operations driving engagement and fostering a culture that reflects Groves values of Collaboration Humanity Ownership Integrity and Sustainability (CHOIS). Youll report to our Head of People Operations based in San Francisco and partner closely with Warehouse Operations leadership and the broader People team.

WHAT YOULL GET TO DO

• Serve as the onsite HR leader owning HR operations for the Elizabethtown warehouse including recruiting onboarding benefits employee development performance support and payroll.
• Partner with Warehouse leadership to strengthen culture build engagement and support employee relations with empathy and fairness.
• Lead and maintain key compliance programs including leave management workers compensation OSHA reporting and other regulatory requirements.
• Provide hands-on support for day-to-day HR needs from coaching managers to helping team members navigate workplace challenges.
• Champion Groves values by helping to build a safe inclusive and mission-aligned environment for all employees.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with our distributed People Operations team to continuously improve HR programs and processes.

YOUR EXPERIENCE LOOKS LIKE

• 46 years of progressive HR Generalist experience ideally within warehouse manufacturing or operations-based environments.
• Strong understanding of local state and federal employment laws (Pennsylvania experience preferred).
• Proven experience managing end-to-end HR operations from recruiting to performance to employee relations.
• Comfortable supporting multiple teams or locations with strong prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; approachable trustworthy and genuinely people-oriented.
• Ability to travel to Groves other warehouse location and HQ in San Francisco occasionally.
• Experience with ADP a plus.
• PHR or similar certification preferred.

IMPORTANT LOGISTICS

This is a full-time office-based opportunity. The schedule is Monday-Friday weeks 1 and 3 of the month and Tuesday-Saturday weeks 2 and 4. The intent of this schedule is to give equal face-time and support to our weekday and weekend shifts.
