Quality Control Microbiologist (EM) Group Leader

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable professional to support critical environmental monitoring activities within a regulated cleanroom environment at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This essential role ensures the integrity of aseptic processes and product quality through routine sampling precise data entry and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform environmental monitoring of GMP cleanrooms during aseptic manufacturing operations and media fills using:
  • Non-viable particle counters
  • Contact plates
  • Microbial air samplers
• Conduct utility sampling (e.g. WFI purified water compressed gases) using validated equipment and procedures
• Read interpret and enumerate microbial plates with accuracy
• Document results in electronic tracking systems with attention to detail and data integrity
• Ensure full compliance with GMP ICH and site-specific safety protocols
• Immediately escalate any atypical findings deviations or equipment malfunctions to management
• Support the maintenance of a clean organized and compliant laboratory environment

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Microbiology Biology or a related scientific field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a GMP/GLP environment
• Proven proficiency in aseptic technique
• Demonstrated leadership experience

Position Details:

• Full-time first shift: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Flexibility required for schedule changes occasional weekends and overtime as needed
