About the role

As part of Kingfishers Engineering Centre in Krakow we are expanding our teams dedicated to Castorama Polska one of the countrys most recognized DIY retail brands. These teams will be shaping the future of retail by building and evolving Castoramas mobile app e-commerce platform and the back-office systems that power store operations across Poland. If you join us you will not just be writing code you will be directly influencing how millions of customers shop browse and interact with their local Castorama stores. From launching a new generation of mobile apps to streamlining in-store tech your work will have a real visible impact in your own backyard.

We are going through an exciting period of change and are looking for a motivated iOS Engineer to join our Engineering this role you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-quality iOS applications working closely with other engineers product managers and designers to deliver exceptional user experiences.

You will work with modern technologies while following best practices in mobile architecture performance and security.

Responsibilities

  • Design develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift SwiftUI and Xcode.
  • Write clean maintainable and testable code following best practices and architectural patterns (e.g. MVVM).
  • Collaborate with backend engineers product managers and designers to define and implement user-focused solutions.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs GraphQL services SDKs and 3rd party libraries.
  • Apply knowledge of mobile app security accessibility and performance optimisation.
  • Participate in code reviews refactoring and troubleshooting to maintain a high-quality codebase.
  • Support CI/CD processes and contribute to optimising delivery pipelines.
  • Stay up to date with iOS development trends tools and best practices and share knowledge with the team.

What youll bring

Skills and experience

  • Solid professional experience developing iOS applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Swift SwiftUI and Xcode.
  • Understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM MVP or MVI.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs GraphQL services SDKs and 3rd party tools.
  • Awareness of AWS and cloud-based solutions for mobile applications.
  • Good understanding of mobile security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
