QA Engineer

Type of contract:employment contract

Salary range: PLN gross/m

What will you do

• Work on testing and quality assurance of systems developed by the company taking ownership of test planning and execution across the development lifecycle
• Create and maintain test cases test scenarios and test documentation
• Design implement and maintain automated test scripts for backend and frontend systems
• Execute manual and automated tests analyze results and report defects and quality metrics
• Collaborate closely with developers analysts and other QA engineers to ensure high product quality
• Continuously improve test processes tools and automation frameworks
• Participate in CI/CD processes and support continuous testing practices
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman Rest Assured and SoapUI
• Support BDD testing activities using Cucumber
• Use SQL queries to validate data and support backend testing
• Manage test code and documentation using version control systems (Git)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in software testing
• Practical knowledge of various testing techniques and methodologies
• Strong analytical skills objectivity and problem-solving mindset
• Basic programming experience in at least one language: Java Python C# or JavaScript
• Experience or strong interest in test automation and performance testing
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA processes
• Everyday experience with version control systems (Git)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA
• Ability to create clear test documentation and reports
• Fluent English both written and spoken for communication with international clients

Nice to have

• Practical experience with TDD and/or BDD approaches
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes
• API testing experience
• Experience with backend automation tools (Postman Rest Assured SoapUI)
• Experience with frontend automation testing
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
• Experience working with Java Python or JavaScript in testing projects
