Job Summary
Chief of Staff
Location:Hybrid work environment requiresbeingin ourDowntown Toronto office 2-3 days per week.
Position Summary
AndromedaSoftwareisseekinga Chief of Stafftoreport directly to theChief Operating Officer.This pivotal rolewillcollaborateclosely with all department leads includingSales Marketing ProductDevelopment Professional ServicesandFinance toidentifybusiness opportunities execute strategic product roadmaps and drive organic growth initiatives. Thispositionisan excellent opportunitytogainadeepunderstanding of our best practice framework for investing in andoperatingVertical Market Softwarebusinesses.
Key Responsibilities:
You will help support the management and growth of businesses within the portfolio as well as integrations of new acquisitions. Duties and responsibilities include:
StrategicInitiatives andSpecialProjects:Leadvalue-addedinitiatives and special projectsprovidinginsight into the performance of each business.Identifyopportunities for improvement or best practice sharing with other Perseus businesses.
Financial Analysis& Performance:Complete financial modelling and prepare analysis for presentations. Draw insightsfromanalysisto recommendpossibleoperationalimprovements. Work with cross-functional finance resources toparticipatein quarterly business reviewsandimprove financial and operational performance metrics.
Mergers & AcquisitionSupport:Support M&A activitiesincluding evaluating contractsand conductingfinancial and operational analysis. You will gain exposure to the entire software acquisition cycleincludingevaluation of opportunities financial modelling and due diligence.
Operational Support:PartnerwiththePortfolio Manager and cross-functional teams to review monthly and quarterly business performance.Assistin developingand implementingeffective action plans to track and assess the performance of approved initiatives.
Education and Experience:
7yearsofworkexperienceat a tier-one management consulting firm private equity principal investment shop orinvestment bank.
AnUndergraduate Degree in Businesswith strong academic performance is.AnMBA or CPA is considered an asset but notrequired.
Ability toestablishcredibility with senior business leaders.
Experienceinexecutingchange managementand business transformationinitiatives.
Provenresearchand analyticalskills.
Highly competent inExcel with financial modelling experience.
Comfortable withambiguity and limited oversight; able to proactivelyidentifyopportunities toleverageskill set.
Able to workindependentlywhileseekingout guidance and learning/development opportunities from colleagues.
Desire tobuilda long-term career path atAndromedaSoftware/Constellation Software
Travel requirement:Moderate travel primarily withinNorth America. Ad hoc travelforM&A activities.
