Job Summary
Quality Staffing Inc. is seeking a skilled Sheetfed Press Operator to join a reputable printing facility in the Nashville area. Pay: Based on Experience. Schedule: Monday-Saturday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (3-Day Work Week - Alternating every 4 weeks; overtime as needed)
The Sheetfed Press Operator performs all operations necessary for the successful operation of an 8-Color Press. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of sheetfed press operations including press operation and maintenance achieving and maintaining critical color match and registration working with inks and coatings and understanding finishing requirements.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional capable of producing top-quality printing results maintaining high productivity and ensuring equipment performance through proper maintenance and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain an 8-Color Sheetfed Press to achieve top-quality print standards
- Ensure accurate color matching registration and finishing requirements
- Perform press maintenance including cleaning lubrication and part replacement
- Conduct quality control checks per SOP guidelines
- Troubleshoot press issues efficiently to minimize downtime
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work safely and assist team members as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Sheetfed Press Operator
- Strong understanding of print color theory and press troubleshooting
- Experience with Komori presses and UV inks preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a color vision test
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent bending twisting kneeling and crouching required
