Job Title: Machine Operator III - US

Location: Raleigh NC

Duration: 6 Months

Job Type: Contract

Note: 3RD SHIFT 11:30 PM TO 07:30 AM. *Training: will be done on first shift. Monday to Friday 730am-330pm and it will probably be a month of training before going to 3rd shift.**Note: Hours could change to 12 hours depending on business needs. Can start with cleared DT while background is running. Steel Toe Shoes Required Prior To Start. Top Required Skills:

Ability to read a ruler and take accurate measurements

Must-Have Skills:

Ability to read and interpret rulers measurements and job specifications
Strong basic math and measurement skills
Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial cutting equipment
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
Basic computer skills
Ability to follow SOPs work instructions and safety procedures
Strong work ethic reliability and teamwork skills
Willingness to work overtime as needed

Nice-to-Have Skills:

2 3 years of related cutter or manufacturing experience
Experience with guillotine cutters paper joggers and paper lifters
Knowledge of machine control panels air systems and back gauge movement
Experience with knife changes adjustments and machine maintenance
Experience cross-training in multiple production areas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Set up and operate guillotine cutters according to customer specifications
Locate flatstock and perform make-ready operations
Program cutter computer to meet job specifications
Perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards
Perform knife changes adjustments troubleshooting and routine maintenance
Operate paper joggers and lifters; stack materials correctly
Interpret job tickets and customer specifications to efficiently run jobs
Communicate effectively with pressmen operators management and suppliers
Maintain a clean safe work environment and follow SOPs
Support team efforts quality investigations and cross-training initiatives

Requirements:

Ability to pass ruler and line clearance tests
Strong mathematical and measurement skills
Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through testing or prior experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties
Ability to maintain good attendance and reliability
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
