NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an Assistant Funeral Home Manager at Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary. Responsibilities
Build trusted relationships within the community to educate and support families with at-need funeral decisions
Develop and maintain strong community partnerships to establish a reliable referral network
Lead and cultivate a respectful communicative and service-oriented team environment
Assist the Mortuary Manager in planning and executing community outreach events
Provide day-to-day guidance and coordination across the mortuary department and supporting teams
Ensure smooth office operations through strong organizational oversight and effective problem-solving
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience conducting funeral arrangements with at need families
At least 2 years of management or leadership experience; funeral profession preferred
Must hold a valid California Funeral Director License or be eligible to obtain licensure within 2 years
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office setting
Demonstrated excellence in customer service and a proactive approach to helping others
Strong professional communication and leadership abilities
Proven skills in conflict resolution and problem-solving especially in emotionally sensitive situations
Compensation
- $77K-$87K Depending on experience
