Job Summary
Position: Senior Escrow Assistant
Assignment: 10/27/2025 through 1/27/2026 (Potential for Extension or Temp to Perm)
Location: Torrance CA 90505
Pay Range: $25.00 hourly paid weekly.
Position Overview:
The Senior Escrow Assistant provides key support to the Escrow department by handling customer service and administrative tasks related to residential escrow closings. This role assists in clearing titles preparing escrow files and supporting Escrow Officers with business development and client relations. The position also involves preparing documents for various residential transactions including wraps assignments and mobile homes as well as generating simple closing statements. May provide guidance and work direction to other escrow support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Escrow Officers in preparing and organizing residential escrow files for closing.
- Support title clearance and document preparation for all types of residential transactions.
- Handle customer service inquiries and provide excellent support to clients throughout the escrow process.
- Prepare simple closing statements and other required documentation.
- Assist with business development initiatives and support the Escrow team as needed.
- Provide work direction to junior escrow support staff when necessary.
Qualifications:
- 23 years of experience as an Escrow Assistant with proficiency in handling more complex residential transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong verbal communication and problem-solving abilities.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
Working Conditions:
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels such as from office equipment.
- The ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Use of computers and technology.
